Parsley is a staple in most peoples kitchen and is added to many a different recipe, it is also thought to have incredible health benefits. University of Missouri scientists found that this herb can actually inhibit breast cancer-cell growth. In the study, animals that were given apigenin, a compound abundant in parsley (and in celery), boosted their resistance to developing cancerous tumors. It is recommended that a couple pinches of minced fresh parsley are taken daily.
