There is a growing trend for women and men to turn away from botox and fillers, how often do we look at a celebrity and wonder what she has done to her face.  They look out from the screen unable to give facial expression, puffed up faces, it leaves many of us thinking, it definitely isn’t a route we want to go down.
There is a  new trend on the block they are opting for new treatments that leave skin naturally glowing, taut, and looking elegantly grown up. The role models? Gwyneth Paltrow and Yasmin Le Bon, with their killer cheekbones rather than hamster cheeks. Even Madonna, once a pioneer of youthful plumping techniques, has emerged in recent weeks looking leaner of face – and arguably a lot better.

Cult London facialist Debbie Thomas, whose clients include Sophie Dahl and Billie Piper, says: “I see in my clients a real backlash against the ‘pillow face’. They don’t want a wind-tunnel look either, just tighter pores and bouncy, firm skin. And more than ever advanced treatments can deliver natural but noticeable improvements.
The Venus Freeze Facial is the new celebrity treatment and has been highly recommended by Vogue and the Evening Standard as the new way to look younger. The equipment can be used to treat wrinkles, tighten skin, reduce cellulite and circumferential fat. Using (MP)² technology, this device delivers multi-polar radio frequency and magnetic pulsed fields to the skin to produce a dense and uniform heat matrix. This causes collagen synthesis and contraction, fibroblast proliferation, neo-vascularity and lipolysis.
“Don’t be put off by the name, of all the non-invasive treatments around to tighten ageing, saggy skin, this may be one of the most effective. It operates by combining Pulse Magnetic Fields and Radio Frequency to raise the temperature of the skin, causing CONTROLLED thermal damage and thereby stimulating  the skin to repair itself. Think of a scab and the nice new ‘baby’ skin underneath! Not that it hurts, not at all”.
What results can I expect?
The feed back that we get from salons that are using it is that the results are remarkable, so if you are thinking of investing in a treatment to tone and tighten either the face or body then it would definitely be worth investigating.
Most customers see a difference in 3 treatments but a course of 6 is recommended.
It is reported to be pain free.
Tighter skin, a softening of wrinkles, reduction in cellulite and a generally improved silhouette.
Venus can be used to treat the face, neck and entire body.
What’s the cost?
Prices vary according to clinic and area in the country, expect to pay £75 upwards per treatment but definitely worth it when you see the results
