Baby it’s cold outside, and your skin might just be showing it. ┬áThe winter air is typically drier combine it with the fact that our skin produces less oil then you might start to experience tightness, dryness and red flaky patches.

Here are our top tips to get you through ’till spring.

1. Always moisturise before you go out to seal in any moisture and make sure your product still has an spf in – UVA rays (the ageing rays) are present even when it’s cloudy.

2. Try to avoid going from extreme cold to extreme heat quickly, this can cause redness and even broken capillaries as fragile veins in the face constrict and expand with changes in temperature.

3. Use a gentle exfoliation product to remove dry skin, a muslin cloth when cleansing might be ideal for you.

4. Hydrate from within drink plenty of water to keep the body hydrated, a good essential fatty acid supplement can help, we also recommend Collagen Shots anti ageing drink from our sister company.

5. Try a skin oil at night to soothe and plump out the skin.
