Aromatherapy is a delightful treatment using aromatic oils.

Aromatherapy dates back to over 2500 years BC. The client is assessed during consultation to see which of the many oils would be best used for treatment. Typically a combination is used during a personalized treatment. The infusion can be applied to the client in several ways.

Massage: added to a carrying oil eg; almond oil to massage the body.

Inhalation: breathing the oils in directly.

In the bath: thus allowing absorption through the skin and inhalation.

Each essential oil has it’s own characteristics and can be used to influence different treatments and moods.

Dissolving the oils in to the atmosphere to be inhaled.

Compress: applying the oils directly to a compress to be place on the area.
