Manuka honey is one of my favourite things, in poridge or a cup of tea for a treat but sales of manuka bee sting moisturiser have increased by 3000 since claims that Kate Middleton uses it. The cream is reported to have more than 10 000 bee stings per pot, the Purified Bee Venom is said to act as a “skin renewal treatment that nurtures cell regeneration and assists with the renewal of damaged skin cells.”
The range will be available at health food chain, Holland and Barret “Years of research has seen the invention of a ‘commercial bee venom collector’. ‘This does not harm the bees, but collects the venom – a light brown powder – which has been used ‘in vitro’ and ‘in vivo’ across a number of clinical trials.”
Interesting as I thought all Manuka honey products came from Australia,so that’s a new one for me. Definitely worth a try at prices from £16.99 a pot.
