The feet are often the most neglected part of the body and after months of being covered up in winter they could definitely benefit from a little pampering. A pedicure is the care of the feet, lower legs and toe nails.

The feet are soaked in warm water for a few minutes before treatment begins. Old enamel is removed and the nails clipped and filed. Cuticles are softened and massaged and dead skin removed with a pumice or foot scraper.

Cuticle remover is applied and worked in, followed by gentle lifting of the cuticle with a cuticle knife.

The feet are then soaked again and thoroughly dried before applying a good massage lotion. After massaging the feet, ankles and lower leg the toe nails can be painted.

Clients with fungal infections and verrucas can not be treated until the infection has been treated.
