The CIDESCO diploma is highly thought of in the industry and since 1957 the qualification has expanded over all 5 continents, with over 160 schools.

CIDESCO was founded in 1946 with its Head office in Zurich and is now in over 33 countries. The CIDESCO diploma is highly thought of in the industry and since 1957 the qualification has expanded over all 5 continents, with over 160 schools.

The course is over at least 1200 hours of training in practical and theoretical work and is studied in a CIDESCO registered school. The examinations consist of a facial examination, a body examination, a written paper and an additional subject. Students are also required to write a thesis of at least 4000 words on a subject that reflects their studying.

The diploma is only awarded upon successful completion of the exams and having gained 600 hours work experience in a beauty salon.

Post graduate examinations can be completed.
